In conjunction special event with Capri by Fraser

Capri by Fraser by Fraser, a newly opened hotel near the Singaopre EXPO, would be a suitable hotel for AFA. As AFA does not have an official hotel, we would like to be AFA’s official hotel.

Convenience for visitors

As one third of the visitors come from regional countries and special guests from Japan are also invited over to Singapore, these special guests and visitors would need somewhere to stay over the next 3 days of the event.  Our “Smart Hotel” is able to provide comfort and convenience through technology.

One example of a guest who stayed in Capri by Fraser was ironically, a cosplayer from Singapore, Germaine Tan. Along with an average of 7 other people, she stayed in Capri by Fraser throughout the 3 days the event is held. This would show how much Capri by Fraser’s accommodation and service can provide for AFA. Singapore, being such a small country, can attract locals because of such inconvenience- So what makes tourists a different case?

Hence, we would like to collaborate with AFA and be their official hotel. Artistes or visitors would be able to stay in the hotel at a special or discounted rate. This would be a bundle or package price of the festive tickets and the accommodation fee. By doing this, we can ensure that visitors who come for this special rate is truly attending AFA.

Moreover, not only will such rates benefit Capri by Fraser, it will also benefit AFA and the guests and visitors of AFA. Capri by Fraser is also able increase the hotel’s awareness since it is rather new.

Special Idol Event- “Dine with your idol”

Being the official hotel, we would like to support the event by proposing an event in our function room, “The Pod”. As most fans participate in AFA for the concerts and is even willing to pay up to SGD$408 just to see their performance, we are able to see that these fans are very extreme and dedicated.

As Capri by Fraser is not able to hold 85,000 visitors in the hotel, one special event we have thought of is to “Dine with your idol”. The thought of the personalised service, “Dine with your idol”, alone simply excites and tempts these dedicated fans. Hence, we would like to propose to the event organizers to allow artistes or special guests involved in AFA to dine with their fans in Capri by Fraser’s ballroom.

The dinner event will be held after the last day of AFA and it will be a banquet style dinner with several tables. In between courses, idols are given the time to go up on a small platform stage to give a short speech to their fans and thank them for their continuous support. A translator will be there as well to minimize the language barrier.

AFA will benefit as a percentage of the ticket sales from this event will be given to AFA while the rest will be to the hotel such that we may at least break even. This event is similar to the concept of “Gala Dinner” whereby it is usually held at the end of the tour. This event can be memorable to many- the artistes and visitors.
